This Is Happiness

While outside, the sunlight tends to our confidence,

the warmth is met with a wonderful happiness.

Oh give a farewell to hazy cloud cover and rain,

for this is our opportunity to enjoy the rays of spring.

Trees in our sightline beginning to show their buds,

and flowers delightfully readying their blossoms.

If life could live with this spontaneous truth,

may all of our ills be swept away in the breeze.

Let the evening dusk give us a good memory,

that nostalgic nature of time outside our own.

We are of an ability to live a humble release,

knowing only that faith might bring us peace.
