An Anxious Appeal

When in the quiet of my alone,

a storm appears, awaits me,

a patient peril on the other side,

hoping my energy its appeal.

When everything becomes an

evidence, plays in my head,

only finding peace will alleviate

those lingering flashbacks,

always an aching awareness.

How distant we decide a path,

can often distract our desire.

We’d like that peace we can feel,

when fear is near to our mind.

In the silence of a single moment,

we will realize our worth.

    1. Ah, I appreciate that more than you might imagine. AI has no guardrails and scares the hell out of me. Thank you.
