She Smiled

I remember when she smiled,

her jeans wrapped around

her body like well fitting gloves.

She looked at me and she smiled,

“They’re kind of perfect right now, I’ve been wearing them for eight days.”

I looked at her and smiled.

“Today is a perfect day.”
