How life has been measured
From the crest of that hill.
A gorgeous autumn afternoon
Colors bleed into the horizon.
The nights can be so long,
Wondering where sleep is,
The dreams create a fear of
Reminders of those questions.
It isn’t really that difficult
To close my eyes and sleep,
Just the adventures that follow,
Like that unfinished canvas.

Step outside in the fresh breeze
Feel nature ignite your senses.
Let your skin respond to a tease,
Your eyes will taste the splendor.

When life begins to ask when
The why comes alive in the mind.
Stays with our psyche all the time
Reminding us we are only human.
Isn’t that where the anxiety arrives,
So apparent we forget the skies.
Breathe for a moment and relax,
Let your heart swell in the breeze.
There’s a scrutiny thing weighs
Heavy upon our imagination.
When life begins to suggest
A permanence without questions.
~
Settle in and appreciate the colors
Like a rainbow of love is peace.
Please I would love you to share words, suggestions …
