Finding Peace

I would that I feel

a day like this

every day.

I sit in my chair,

warmth of a coffee cup

in my hand,

wondering about

all the moments

ahead of my life.

navigate my hours

with simple logic,

not wanting to answer

all the questions

I can never achieve

only allowing the moment

to be the beautiful setting

my mind

would like to receive.
