Listen quiet stillness,
Rustle breeze, swift leaves breathe
Glance forest remarkable
Wild abandon layer
Mystery is ours in observation.
Found bird in single chirp,
Paced response to their world,
We stand in borrowed shadow,
Soft wood construction permanent,
Adjust to our invasive species please.
Sunlight magic lights the forest,
Creates arrays of singular beauty
Then sweeps again the region
Our eyes focus upon, looking further,
Wanting to see the world watching us.
I suppose I stayed still three hours
Waiting for the forest burst in flowers.
