Nature’s Challenge – A Sonnet

nature

We all witness wrath’s beauty in Nature.

Love’s tragedy can be felt miles away,

Sometimes unknowing just how we may endure

the soft mystique of His crafty foray

within. We speak about the sheer damning

seasons we face now with human despair.

Another sweet shard of winter’s freezing

drifts and icy rains will grace our spring air.

While our lives continue forward in waves

that with each waking morning we suggest

our worlds will reign on. Be still, we can have

that flight in lightning’s glow, our hearts will rest.

Cloudy days, sunlight streams of elegance

will rest the souls of those She swept by chance
