Hello,

I’m a father, teacher, theatre director, poet, writer, liberal, conservative, Irish Catholic, God-fearing Midwesterner. I started this blog because I want to create a vehicle to primarily showcase my poetry, and also give me a practice ground to start to seriously create strides in my writing.

I need your comments, feedback, ideas, passions, notions. I want to know if my writing causes you to feel and visualize, to think about the words, to imagine what you might envision when you let the lines cross your mind. I hope you and I can have a dialogue here.

Thanks so much to everyone for helping me build this blog. Who knows, sometime down the road, with your help and guidance I might add pictures and all sorts of interesting things to make these pages jump out at the reader. For now … just words.
