Small Favors

I reach inside to try to find

some nature of my sanity.

Life does move quickly

trying to keep up with

reason, with purpose,

with our personal truths.

I ask sometimes for help

without ever understanding

how fragile our lives can be.

In the morning I reframe

life answering questions

that only resonate with me.

To the rest?

Can we please favor peace.
