Waiting Upon That Moment

It happens, I’m told in a noncommittal manner.

No encounter in a rainy afternoon

is like reaching for shelter alone.

The idea of having to cope with a life

is so much easier if we refuse to do it alone.

It’s when time allows us to breathe,

the truth of our own vulnerability

comes to play a role in our lives,

determines our way of reaching out to love.

We can be kind people in the darkest of times.

We can bring peace to someone’s turmoil.

When those moments occur and we are ready,

A gift we might give a person is a real truth.

It’s when we find ourselves waiting a sacred moment,

we can begin to realize we’re only a thought away.

Please I would love you to share words, suggestions …
