All Day Long

There’s that moment again,

again and again

when everything that matters

becomes blurred once more.

A kind of slow growing blaze,

it’s never extinguished,

sometimes more arid than others.

This memento is a state of mind,

that sought after peace of mind.

It’s when reminded of folly

that turns lethal and obvious.

What happens to twenty years

of effort to heal, suddenly turns

sabotaging the mind?

It’s a sort of rampant cycle

of weighing truth and our soul.

Please I would love you to share words, suggestions …
