A Time To Wallow – Part One
It’s when everything seems to drift by,
motives of the day remain unclear,
like a passenger train traveling on rails,
though stuck in a one way journey.
Wishing for a surprise inside the next
tunnel our eyes aimed on the quiet
reality outside our fast moving window.
When eventually the exit nears,
the mind begins to explore possibility
until the terrain remains the same, miles
ahead, very little change could confuse
the mind, trying hard to find a new arena.
It’s there when the design in mind
begins to take root, a silent reminder.
Stepping Off The Tracks – Part Two
My reality was getting off of the train,
didn’t want to depart my fantasy,
life seemed so easy without a destiny.
I looked about and saw the world in
existence going through their normalcy
as the day wound to an evening dusk.
I wandered about the station
half imagining getting back on with no
destiny to settle me into a reality.
This is who I am I thought, glancing
into the reflection of a train station
window knowing I couldn’t stay forever.
I looked outside saw the public car,
and knew now my reality wouldn’t wait.
Happenstance – Part Three
Now became the time to know beyond
this moment in the train station, there
would be benefits to hanging on and
not running away, though an easy option.
Life seems to always have chance to hold
promise when our lives suddenly have a
valid purpose to move forward. It just
happens that obstacles and rules
sometimes step sideways shielding shadows.
Just playing with words that time but
there is a settled pattern we live by.
We always have to own our lives.
To imagine a life without any awareness
could be so happenstance, we might fail.
Inside our humility carries a dream of fortune.
Please I would love you to share words, suggestions …
