That’s how it is supposed to happen,

those quiet moments, a revelation so telling,

it would be cool to speak it to someone.

I suppose that’s reaching out,

and we all define it differently.

I’ve seen it happen before.

Three quick words on social media,

‘Anyone out there?’

The waiting begins. Are they awake?

I suppose it could depend upon the time of night.

If a person is really in crisis,

time of day makes no difference.
