When once I did the same,

I’d venture to say,

I could string a few words

together to give credence 

to an active state of mind.

Always felt what was needed

is something real rather than

an over zealous point of view. 

The real art of expression 

could really be the explanation.

Being able to convey a message,

in lovely, lilting fashion

is an art I suppose, one worth

seeking in the overall sense

of poetry touching our soul.

There’s a little art involved too.
