There’s this Irish nostalgia,
our families gathered together,
sweet mingling, favorite menus,
familiar memories remind us,
sharing something we all
did inherit one day long ago.
Today, our families have evolved,
blessed with love, elegant lives.
We do share a wonder together,
this bond of magic in our heart.
Gentle souls who smile
whistling the songs of Ireland.
There was a day a
few years back when we all
together as would we be,
with glistening eyes we smiled,
as a chorus of Danny Boy
celebrated our matriarch.
She did give us peace to settle
a sadness in our silent loss..
For now we know we
do cherish the lives
we share together,
as we know our Irish
verse let’s our laughter
and that love we all
know measure our days.
Please I would love you to share words, suggestions …
