If once in a while I might remember,
It’s ok to tell myself it’s alright.
Life is living with hopeful reminders,
Perhaps the difference is day or night.
Sitting inside the silent pain of loss
When in quiet contrast to happiness,
We make choices alone with little cost,
Surrounding ourselves with this real kindness.
That’s the beauty of a life I suppose,
Matching our heart and soul, beauty we wove,
Disguising understandings we oppose,
While passions were nearby, always we drove.
Finding our inner self is intriguing,
Imagine worlds when love speaks our being.
