When we would forget, rather we relent.

Would perhaps taking that high road prevent

Our hearts, our intuition, a certain respite

From the heartache, the confusion despite

Factions of our world thinking otherwise.

Framing our future, a complete disguise.

And now those many doors open again

Allowing inside sacred walls a man,

One capable of morphing our country

Into what thinks his entitled bounty.

Walk alone now and strengthen fragile minds,

Beyond the baselessness of his demands.
