Waking Trepidation

I woke with this

a decade of challenge

the sky is blue

always there

to count upon

without abandon.

Then one afternoon

ours, human condition

finds reason to soar

upon clouds are regions

Of mindful balance.

So this is our scope

upon a decade of hope
