It’s when The Man is ignored,

a desire to respond

a need to produce

a penchant toward success

brings laughter to the eyes of a cynic.

 

We do have heart and soul

flavors of responsible emotive skill

the sort suggests satisfaction

in perilous times

enough to wake the sleeping lion.

 

Daybreak looms again beyond

a twilight ceremony

of mystique

a sort of ethereal display

in spiritual melody sing chant.

 

Whisper sweet charm to make smile

while the body decides upon the next mile.
