Optimistic

When Life Is Remarkable

I do remember sunsets

the crystal golden sphere of a reality

well beyond my reach,

yet complete in its bathing ceremony.

I do breathe freely knowing

this is a reminder of life beyond

my moment,

this partial torment of a gradual society.

I am

as the sunsets on another innocent reminder

where purpose lies

our lives need to recognize the power

the simple grasp upon our soul,

Nature … hold no prisoners,

only provides the light a distant horizon

teases our minds, our human condition,

give hope to a willingness to quietly become

human.
